Patient Arrival Policy
Even though we make every effort to help our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be uneasy in new surroundings or with other pets. For the safety and protection of all:
- Please have all dogs on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
- Please have all cats in appropriate carriers or on a leash.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we work primarily by appointment. We make a sincere attempt to see each patient on time. However, emergency cases always receive top priority, so we appreciate your understanding with the occasional inevitable appointment delay.
For your convenience, we also offer drop-off appointments. In this case you may bring your pet to us at a time that works best for you and leave him/her for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off in the morning so our doctors may examine the patient in between appointments or at the time reserved for admitted patients. Following an exam, the doctor will call to discuss the diagnosis and any discharge instructions.
For the safety of staff and all animals in our care, we require a current rabies vaccination for all admitted patients.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your con-venience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, cash and personal checks.
